Meet Dr. Afshin Nateghi, DDS
Dr. Afshin Nateghi is a skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. With extensive experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, he is committed to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Nateghi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tehran before furthering his education at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. There, he received advanced training and was honored with the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for his commitment to excellence. His research contributions on laser applications in dentistry highlight his passion for innovation.
As a general dentist, Dr. Nateghi takes pride in offering a full range of services, from preventive care to cosmetic and restorative treatments. His warm and personable approach ensures that patients feel at ease, and he believes in building long-term relationships based on trust and quality care.

Meet Dr. Jamaad Abdi, DDS
Dr. Jamaad Abdi graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Abdi then elected to pursue further training by completing an intensive General Practice Residency at the level two trauma center at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York, New York.
During her training at St. Barnabas Hospital, Dr. Abdi was directly mentored by the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in performing advanced surgical procedures such as implant placement, sinus augmentation, guided bone and tissue regeneration, L-PRF therapy, surgical extractions, auto transplantation, endodontic microsurgery and periodontal surgery.
Dr. Abdi is passionately involved in research and has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. She was selected as a President’s Fellow, a prestigious, yearly distinction granted to one dental student at the University of Maryland. In this mentored fellowship, she worked alongside the President in developing recommendations to the university, subsequently publishing a university-focused white paper.
Dr. Abdi stays current on the newest techniques and principles in dentistry with hundreds of hours of clinical and didactic continuing education (CE) courses and is a Certified Invisalign Provider. Dr. Abdi is a member of the American Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association of Endodontists. In her free time, Dr. Abdi enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time with friends and family.
